Swedish Massage
(Useful for: relaxation, overall well-being, chronic pain, injury, pregnancy)

Swedish massage is what people usually think of when they say “massage therapy.” It is typically done on a table, using oil or lotion directly on skin.

Swedish massage is designed to relax muscles and improve circulation. It can be used for acute or chronic pain, or can be done purely for relaxation. Swedish massage can incorporate deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, frictions, hot and cold therapy, and other specific therapeutic techniques.
